Chiaroscura is a design studio. We use elements of light and shadow to orchestrate a bit of poetry into the spaces we create.

Chiaroscura strives to design spaces that stir sensory experiences and stoke the memory & imagination. Our name comes from chiaroscuro, a technique of juxtaposing light & shadow to compose the semblance of a three-dimensional whole.

In this After-School Program, elementary-aged kids will learn about the fundamentals of architecture and design through open-ended play, drawing, and hands-on-building activities that ignite their imaginations and invite their curiosity about the built world!
