Located not far from Mountain Laurel Lodge is the wonder Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary.
It’s a sweet place to take the kids and show them butterflies and even take one home!

We are open everyday through August 25th. No reservations are needed for any public walk-in hours : Thursday through Monday 11-5 , Tuesday and Wednesday 2-6. Every Tuesday is Grandparent Day - 1 grandparent free with one paid child. Admission for 2024 is $14.00 for kids 3-12 and seniors 62+ and $15.00 for adults . Veterans get $1.00 off.
