🍂 Join the Cobb family and their friends at Rocky Mount State Historic Site as they celebrate the harvest. Living history tours of the Cobb farm will take place all day. Demonstrations on site will include blacksmithing, fireplace cooking, apple butter making, apple cider pressing, and much more. Stop and smell the biscuits baking in the kitchen or give the apple butter a stir.

🤖 Toys and games, including a sack races, corn hole, & 18th century games will be available for all ages.

🎄 Get started on your Christmas shopping! Local craft artisans will be on site with their beautiful hand made objects. Or, stop by the gift shop and pick up a thing or two!

🌭 Bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds or visit the food trucks that will be set up throughout the weekend.

Visit Johnson City has partnered with AVM Enterprises, Inc., Tennessee-based supply distributor, to facilitate AVM Helping Hands - The Simple Way to Give. To make it easier to support Tennesseans who have been impacted by Helene, Helping Hands opens the bulk, wholesale market to the general public.

AVM donations can be ordered online and will not be assessed freight fees. Direct delivery to the Johnson City Visitor Center is recommended. Contributions will be processed and delivered to partner agencies and donation sites, who will then identify where the need is greatest. The public is invited to visit goavm.com/helpinghands.aspx to review supply options and process their contribution.

As our region continues to recover from the damages of Helene, we invite those impacted to utilize the Johnson City Visitor Center for respite and connecting to essential services. Bottled water, snacks, charging stations, internet, and hotel booking support is available during normal operating hours.

For additional disaster relief assistance, we encourage those in need to contact the United Way of East TN Highlands and the Washington County/Johnson City Emergency Management Agency.
