🦇🏍️ Check out the Spelunker Tour, a ride with a deep dive into history, and literally, the earth. During early colonization, settlers were baffled by Native Americans ability to vanish seemingly into thin air. They eventually discovered the Native Americans' escape routes: caves with a stunning underground river! Used as hideouts during the Civil War, the caves changed hands over time and are now known as the Bristol and Appalachian Caverns. On this ride you’ll have the opportunity to see these unique caves and explore two underground labyrinths more than one million years old.

🎶🏍️ Immerse yourself in country music's roots with the "Music to Your Ears" ride. Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, home to the Carter Family and the Birthplace of Country Music, shaped America’s modern country music scene. Visit the Burger Bar in Bristol, where Hank Williams was last seen alive, the auditorium where June Carter and Johnny Cash performed, and the site of the first “country” recordings in 1927. Explore Appalachian history at ETSU’s Archives of Appalachia in Johnson City, and perhaps catch a performance by the college’s renowned bluegrass band.

More than 850 feet long and 10 stories high, Natural Tunnel State Park was naturally carved through a limestone ridge over thousands of years. Called the “8th Wonder of the World” by William Jennings Bryan, Natural Tunnel is more than one million years old, and has been attracting visitors for more than two centuries. Park your bike and ride the chairlift down to hiking trails, picnic tables, and, of course, the incredible tunnel itself, and bask in wonder.

🏍️ One of the most legendary female motorcyclists, Joanna Needham, will be at the Lace, Grace and Gears Rally in Johnson City! With over 57 years of riding experience and more than a million miles traveled, she’s a true trailblazer. Joanna will teach two exclusive slow riding courses on Friday, Sept. 27, and Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Holiday Inn parking lot. Limited to just eight slots, sign up at the registration desk when you arrive to learn from one of the best!
