Our Story
Laura McDowell is a veteran Disney World and Disneyland enthusiast having visited both parks numerous times in her youth, young adulthood and now as a parent. As an agent for Neverland Adventure Guides, she can give her clients the best experience on their Disney vacations down to the smallest detail.
Disneyland is still one of Laura’s favorite vacations now as an adult and still visits on a regular basis. She and her family vacation at Disney World three to four times a year. Her favorite ride is Soarin’ and Mickey of course is still her favorite character.
In October 2010, Laura decided it was time to take her experience and knowledge of Disney to help other families plan the perfect Disney experience. She has loved helping families experience the magic that is Disney World and Disneyland. Since becoming an agent, Laura has cruised on Disney Magic and Disney Dream to also better help her clients plan the perfect sea excursions.
Now a mother of three, Laura loves seeing Disney through the eyes of her boys, Gavin Trent, Copper and Rees. One of Laura’s favorite Disney memories was when Copper was finally big enough to ride Test Track. “He was so excited,” said Laura. “A cast member overheard him and she took us immediately to the front of the line. I love it when moments of magic like this happen at Disney!”
In 2011, Laura ran the Disney 5K, while her husband ran the Disney Half-Marathon. They had such a good time that Laura was inspired to train for the Disney Half-Marathon for 2012! Laura has since completed four Disney Half-Marathons and Gavin has completed four Goofy Runs and three D***y Runs. Even the kids have gotten involved, running in the Disney Kid’s Races twice. Laura and Gavin have also participated in the Dumbo Double Dare and Gauntlet Challenge at Disneyland.
When Laura is not planning Disney vacations, she volunteers at her sons’ school and serves as a member of Junior Auxiliary of Jonesboro. She and her family are members of First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro.
