Tune in on February 10th at 6PM CST to the Pursuit Channel. From my research it should be channel 393 for Dish and 604 for Direct TV. Off the Hook Production company came and filmed Caney Lake. Thanks to the Visit Jackson Parish Tourism for making this happen. Instead of Large Mouth Bass they focused just on crappie fishing. He emailed me this morning and provided the date and time. He also emailed this back as well. "If we do it again, we need to film in Dec. I was there two weeks ago and it was amazing! A lot of people will travel for the type of fishing I found then. It’s different, only 3 lakes in the country fish like that. I made some extra YouTube out of it. "

He build and later donated to the parish the non-denominational Jimmie Davis Tabernacle and the Jackson Parish Museum has exhibits and artifacts from each era of his life. Genealogists explore the many cemeteries tucked throughout the parish and several buildings from the 1800s remain here.
