A little history on The Post House.

It’s the two story building, on the left, during the historical Flood of 1927. It still stands today, completely renovated, ready for your stay or for use of your upcoming event. It has so such history & character.

Historic building in downtown Jonesville, Louisiana. Circa 1925, this timeless building was once home to the towns original Post Office. Open floor plan with high ceilings and lots of windows. You are taken to an older era of shiplap walls, exposed wooden beams & exposed brick walls, with hardwood flooring, making it cozy for relaxing. Enclosed outdoor living space & an upstairs deck lend extra space for entertaining. Furnished with all the comforts of home in a location close to many area festivals, site seeing, fishing & hunting. Also the perfect place for out of town relatives or friends to stay. At the top of the stairs, the landing has a spacious daybed and access to the large upper outdoor deck. Inside, to the back of the landing, is a hallway connecting the private guest bathroom and private guest bedroom, which contains two twin beds. To the other side of the landing, is the entrance to the stately master bedroom, with a luxurious king bed and large private bathroom showcasing a double bowl vanity & a deep soaking tub. A huge cedar closet has plenty of space for belonging to be stowed away. Includes a fully equipped kitchen, coffee bar, wet bar, TV's, WiFi, iron, ironing board, linens, towels & central a/c & heat. Free parking is located on the street directly in front of the house. The property also has a large side & back yard. Management is local, so no need to worry should an issue arise. It will be dealt with promptly.

Rates
Small Gatherings: Bridal/Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, etc;
$125 per event with a $50 Security Deposit
Large Gatherings: Weddings, Receptions, Reunions, etc;
$300 per event with a $100 Security Deposit
Lodging with overnight stay $175 plus tax per night
