The Orion Nebula ☁️

This cloud of gas 1400 light years away is large enough to hold thousands of baby solar systems. As the closest major star formation region to Earth, the Orion Nebula’s stars and reflective gas are bright enough to see with the naked eye.

Just below Orion’s famous belt are three stars marking the sword in his sheath. The middle of these is not a star at all but the light produced by this stellar nursery.

Visible to the unaided eye, a show stopper with a small pair of binoculars, and a portal to another world in our enhanced vision telescopes, we’re thrilled to welcome back this winter wonder.

Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is glorious to behold in the low western sky after sunset. Strikingly visible to the naked eye with a long beautiful tail, this once in a lifetime spectacle has been a welcome visitor to our night sky experience.

Hanging out between bright Venus and red Arcturus and getting higher every night. Look for it in the west about an hour after sunset. Don’t miss the opportunity to behold this beauty, it won’t be back for 80,000 years!
