You really don't want to miss Monday night's Mojave Monday film screening at Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree. It's a documentary, Of Bombs & Men, about the scrapper community of Niland, near the Salton Sea, as they gather scrap from the bombing range at the nearby Chocolate Mountains. It's a raw look at the scrappers and their lives, and desert journalist/filmmaker Michael DiGregorio will be there to host the event. Best of all - it's free!
