Lake Cuyamaca Condos & Cabins

Lakefront deluxe condos with kitchen, patio with gas BBQ, fishing. 1 Lakeview unit, 1 Condo, and 1 Sleeping cabin are wheelchair accessible/ADA. Children and pets welcome. Cabin occupancy rangers from 2-6 people, dependent on cabin - please see website for detailed amenities.

RACCOON AND RAINBOW
We offer two side-by-side condos in Chambers Park with a beautiful view across the lake to Fletcher Island. The condos both have an open loft bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and fireplace.

LAKEVIEW CABINS

The Lakeview cabins have full amenities including a 48" flat screen satellite TV with DVD player, central heating and air conditioning, and an extra thermostatically controlled propane gas fireplace. The full size kitchens and bathrooms are fully equipped. Just bring your clothes and food. Enjoy watching the variety of birds on the lake and stargazing the night sky from the deck with a broad view of the South End of the Lake.

Watch deer and other wildlife move through the area on the mountain side of the property.

Lakeview also has horse corrals and is pet friendly.

ABOUT LAKE CUYAMACA RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT

Lake Cuyamaca covers 110 surface acres and is surrounded by Anza Borrego Desert State Park and Rancho Cuyamaca State Park. During heavy rainfall years the lake can extend all the way to Sunrise Highway, about 3 miles away. We are located at 4625 feet in elevation in oak and pine forests.

Lake Cuyamaca is pet friendly, but pets must be kept on a leash and we ask that you clean up after them. Lake Cuyamaca offers a variety of activities such as Hiking, Boating, Fishing, Camping, Bird Watching, Duck Hunting, Picnicking, Special Event Hosting, Car Rally, Weddings, and more.

Julian A Frame House of Games provides a relaxing place to enjoy Julian's rural charm. You can bring your kids and pets to enjoy a back to nature experience. For those who enjoy game tables, board games, books, streaming music or even singing, there is something for everyone.

The space
The loft reading nook is stocked with books for all ages. Enjoy your morning coffee in the rocking chair on the porch or take in the view of the 1/2 acre property & bird watch or star gaze from the deck. The backyard has 5 ft high perimeter fencing installed with a front and a back metal gate for kids and pets to play safely. Be careful at night for racoons, hawks and coyotes.

Cards, chips and dice are included. Up to 25 Mbps of wifi through Hughes Satellite internet is available (the fastest speed available in Julian). For your music streaming or singing pleasure, there is a bluetooth-ready Karaoke machine complete with a disco ball and lights to pair with your phone's Spotify or Pandora account. Chess, Chinese chess and checker sets and other board games are stored in the TV cabinet.

Enjoy the wood burning stove while you relax or eat at the dining table which seats 6-8 guests. For extra guests at meals, the folding table with 4 chairs are stored in the closet of the bunk bed room. The house sleeps 9 guests comfortably. The bench seating near the dining area converts to a twin size bed for the extra guest. Any guests over 6 people will be charged $10/person/night. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, spices, coffee, popcorn & cotton candy machine. A BBQ grill with propane is available outside downstairs. Complimentary fire wood is provided by the host when she makes a trip to stock up, but you may wish to bring your own or purchase some at the market in town just in case. A full washer and dryer is available in the porch closet. For trout fishing @ Lake Cuyamaca, 2 fishing poles are stored in the walk in closet downstairs.
