Our lobby, the only part of the rental that was impacted by the flood, is fully repaired - looking better than before and ready to welcome guests warmly once again.

Update after the Mendenhall Glacial Flood -
Rising above the glacial flood, our home stands strong! We weathered the storm and found silver linings. Our elevated rental escaped unscathed, a testament to its sturdy foundation. We're relieved no guests were present during the flood. Repairs are in progress for the first floor and garage, yet our rental endures. Kathy and I are fatigued but heartened by our community's unity and strength in the face of adversity.

We've updated our space!
New queen bed, pillow top - so comfy 😴
Larger - new full bed to replace the single bed. This one is cozy as well.
New desk/lounging chair in the living space for additional comfortable seating.
Adding helpful amenities and Alaskan artwork regularly!

Our Alaskan Home is safe!

You may have seen the flooding we are experiencing along Riverside Drive.

Several losses of property near us. However, we are high and dry.
