Delta's no frills basic economy tickets usually cannot be changed or canceled, but the airline is adding flexibility through the end of the year.

Good things come to those that wait.

In total disbelief, Ottawa has changed their stance on the US border and will allow vaccinated travelers entry to Canada for non-essential travel starting in August. While this is amazing news, it caught many of us off guard.

The Yukon is one of our core offerings, and we did not plan on operating our Alaska/Yukon tours until winter.

We have discussed this with our preferred operator and vendors in The Yukon, and we are going to focus on restarting our Yukon tour program in October, cautiously.

We thankfully have maintained our agreement with Air North - so our travelers will fly one way on Alaska Airlines to Juneau and enjoy Juneau & Skagway in the Fall/Winter, and then continue to The Yukon and fly back to the States on Air North via Vancouver and Alaska Airlines (or vice-versa).

Our winter programs are perfect as the Yukon winter is just simply amazing. Northern lights, dog sledding, skiing, hot springs, and just being in a quiet, quaint winter location.

Cruises seem to be starting back up later this summer out of the Caribbean; ships will be limited to about 80% capacity; 100% of crew AND passengers have to be vaccinated; buffets will no longer be self serve; and it seems social distancing all over the ship. Will be interesting to see how this all will work.

And, to make matters worse, the new Norwegian Prima-class ships are at 142K GWT, which means if we (Juneau) pass the 100K GWT ban, they won't be allowed up here :( :( :(
