Check out this female Sea Lion on Little Island, taken with a big lens, and the Bald Eagle on Aaron Reef taken from our boat! The photo opportunities from a smaller, uncrowded, and less intrusive vessel are fantastic and not to be missed.

What animals do you want to see on your Alaska adventure? Humpback Whales, Bald Eagles, and the endangered Stellar Sea Lion are always present to those who know how to find them. Killer Whale and Dahl Porpoise pods are frequent visitors to the inside passage along with harbor seals, sea otters, dolphins, leaping salmon, and the occasional beach-roaming bear.

We specialize in private and small group charters with half-day and full-day whale and wildlife excursions. On our private charters, your party will be the only passengers so you can enjoy great views like this with no crowds.

Our salmon runs start in early May with the returns of our large breeder Kings (Chinooks) like this 32-pound King! The Pink or "Humpy" Salmon start showing up in mid-June, these are the smallest of our salmon, 3 to 6 lbs, but are real fighters if caught on ultralight gear. Along with the Pinks, the Chum or "Dog" Salmon start to make their appearance. In the middle of July, our Coho or "Silver" Salmon start their runs.

Well it's the 12th of April and it's still snowing. If you look in the foreground you'll see the snowflakes coming down, just a patch beautiful blue sky above the glacier. Not to worry, hitting 50 this weekend and we will be emerald green for you by the middle of May.
We are open, Juneau is open, Alaska is open. Come see us.

New for 2021, for those of you who will be joining us on trips over a couple days, we are now offering an option to drop Dungeness crab pots on your trips! Any crabs caught, we’ll cook them up for you and get them shipped home with the rest of your catch.
