49th Fathom Charters is located in the beautiful capital city of Juneau, Alaska. Whether you're visiting or you call Juneau home, our goal is create an exciting and memorable experience on the water for you and your family/friends. Featuring captains with a combined 35 years of experience, we bring a unique edge to the chartering community. From the gorgeous glaciers and moutains a

bove, to the majestic whales and feisty fish that swim below, our personal charters are sure to fulfill everyones wish list. Departing out of Auke Bay Harbor, about 15 miles Northwest of downtown Juneau, allows us to get you out on the water quicker. Join us aboard one of our two safe and comfortable aluminum fishing vessels, as we journey through the protected waters of Alaskas well known Inside Passage. This area provides some of the worlds greatest sportfishing and whale watching without the uncomfortable swells of the open ocean. I would love the opportunity to take you 49 Fathoms deeper, showing you why there is no other place in the world I would rather play.

Today we honor those whose lives were lost for this great country, including those who were aboard the USS Juneau when it sank during World War II. We have a memorial located in downtown Juneau to honor these brave individuals. 🇺🇸
