It is with tremendous sadness that Hoaloha Jeep Adventures will not be able to recover from the ongoing economic disaster caused by Lahaina wildfire on August 8, 2023. We will no longer be able to offer tours moving forward.

Mahalo nui loa to everyone who supported us, believed in us, and encouraged us to pursue our dream. We have felt your warm aloha and sincerely appreciate all the wonderful memories these past six years.

Vintage 1973: The Old Fort in Lahaina, Maui. These reconstructed walls of coral blocks and sand mark the seaward corners of the Old Fort, which dominated Lahaina roads and the town from about 1832. The Governor of Maui, Hoapili, ordered the original fort of mud and sand rebuilt after a disturbance in 1827, during which the English whaler, John Palmer, fired on mission premises. Atop the Old Fort's walls, it was once the custom for a Hawaiian sentinal to appear at dusk and beat a drum furiously; a signal that all seamen ashore must return to their ships.

It is an extremely difficult time for Maui at the moment and the entire island is in mourning for the homes/buildings, the history, and so many lives that have been lost.

While we are dealing with this loss, tourism has also dropped to zero and many local businesses are in danger of shutting their doors forever.

Now more than ever, we need to support all the small businesses who are struggling to make ends meet during these difficult times.

We, at Hoaloha Jeep Adventures, feel fortunate to play a small role in bringing visitors who can support local businesses, such as Jaws Country Store , Kailani’s Gift Shop, Koki Beach Huli Huli BBQ Huli huli chicken koki, Halfway to Hana , Hana Farms , and Aunty Sandy’s .

We know that there have been mixed messages put out to the community that tourists are not welcome. We'd like to clarify that visitors are GREATLY needed and we welcome you with open arms! The area surrounding Lahaina is still closed and will be for months if not years.

We need YOUR help to rebuild our beautiful island.

Maui welcomes respectful, thoughtful tourism. While we request that you respect Lāhainā and residents by giving them the space and resources they require, we welcome you to visit the rest of the island. 🏝️

Here at , we continue to take donations daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to food and toiletries, consider something for the keiki (such as coloring/activity books and supplies).
