Sometimes we see the Humpbacks from afar but sometimes we get lucky and they come check us out. Whales do this so often that there is even a term for it. "Whale Mugging" is when a curious whale comes up to a boat, swimming under or around the vessel. While they are doing this we turn off the boats engine to be sure no harm comes to the whales and hang out for as long as they want to check us out!
