Spending more time on the mainland with our kids and grandkids so we have decided to offer our beautiful home in Hawaii to those whom are looking for a beautiful comfortable and cool place to stay while on your Hawaiian adventures. Located 15 minutes south of the historic and popular Kailua Kona, in the tiny community of Kainal
iu and 1/2 mile up the mountain amongst the coffee where peace and quiet surrounds you, there you will find our sweet "Place of Peace & Refuge". A central location to beaches, great food, quaint shops and many other adventures on the Big Island of Hawaii. Away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and other adventure seekers, here, where its cool, you can relax with a cold drink, challenge a partner in a game of pool, take a stroll among the palms or just sit on the lanai and watch the sunset. Dinner is either right down the road at Annies or drive into Kona for a batch of shrimp at Bubbas or basket of halibut at Humpy's. And while your visiting Kona , don't forget Kona Brew.Whether your a beer drinker or not you cant beat their nachos or sliders. Depending on the length of your stay there is tons of things to do on the Big Island!!! Besides the obvious beaching it, there's zip-lining thru the forest and over waterfalls. Hiking over the lava or down thru Waipio Valley to the falls. Or go for a swim with the mantas. Whatever you decide to do you'll be making memories of a lifetime in our beautiful part of the world. No matter how long you stay once you stay in our little piece of heaven you will make it your home away from home time and time again. Come stay with us and see....
Accommodations are /at this time but will change in the future/ : 1 Master - King bed, 1 Guest - Queen bed. We do have the ability to set up another bed and convert the game room into a guest room as well.. There's 1 huge Bathroom with a connected outdoor shower. 1/2 bath on the other side of house. Other bath is being updated. Fully stocked Kitchen with gas stove and wine cooler. Huge open living room with sofa sits 10. Dining table seats 6-8. Game Room has pool table and accessories, small refrigerator, game table and games, tv with video games and etc. Home comes with WIFI, Direct Tv, and sound system that's wired in for whole house, outdoors and game room. Home has caretaker on premises. She is a doll and works at another awesome place in town where you can put your toes in the sand listen to some great local music and grind on some ono food. Local she can also point you to some really great adventures off the beaten path. Home is stocked with beach gear, towels, guide books. You will also be greeted with a welcome basket of local fruits and flowers and coffee when you arrive at your home away from home. Summer season May - August Rates are $2500.00 per week. September - April are $3000.00 per week. Based on 2-4 persons.
