Namibia just celebrated 34 years of independence and remains one of the best functioning democracies in all of Africa. With an array of beautiful scenery and wildlife, coastline, vibrant culture and more, it is one of our favorite destinations in the world.

We look forward to returning to Namibia this October to lead our third tour in this fascinating country. We still have a few spaces open, if you or anyone you know might be interested. We’ve added a few days to the itinerary this year to include the Caprivi Strip of northern Namibia, Botswana, and Victoria Falls.

a pano shot of our cabin on the Papaturo river in southern Nicaragua. 7 hour bus ride, then a 4 hour boat ride to get there. One of the best spots I've seen in the Americas for photographing King fishers.

first 6 days of Nicaragua. It started with food poisoning. yeah! That was fun. I barfed so loud I woke up the whole neighborhood except Nick who somehow slept through it. Eating again and drinking a few beers. The next few days will be another adventure on a chicken bus to the south then a boat across lake Nicaragua and up a river to a remote National Park on the border of Costa Rica. We'll see what kind of mischief we can conger up.

Just letting you know we added a second Cuba tour to our schedule this coming February. Our first tour filled quickly and we had a number of people who were still interested, so we added a second set of dates (Feb 22 - March 2, 2024) and only have one spot left...
