And: only 20 individuals per day are allowed into this area, so it's guaranteed to be a serene experience far away from the crowds.

Guides’ day off 2023. No fun was had at all! If you’re looking for a fun summer cool-off while you’re traveling in the greater Kanab area, put the Horseshoe Bend backhaul on your list - Kayak The Colorado can set you up with a boat ride and rental kayaks to float a few miles of the Colorado River right above the Grand Canyon. Our acclaimed Paria Women’s backpack starts and finishes with a team meal and night of lodging in Kanab, and many of our departures sell out months or even years in advance. This fall was no different: the October 21-27 Paria Women’s Backpack had been completely sold out since the spring, but we’ve just had two last-minute openings for this tightly permitted route.
