Beep beep! Last call for fall shuttles! 🚌🚌🚌
Today is the last day fall shuttles will be running up Zion Canyon. Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to drive personal vehicles up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. From Monday Dec. 2 to Thursday Dec. 19 shuttles will not run.
Shuttles will run again from Friday Dec. 20 to Sunday Dec. 29; personal vehicles will not be able to drive up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive during that time.
Plan on limited parking! There are few spots up Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. When parking in Zion Canyon is full, the NPS may temporarily close the roadway to prevent congestion.
If parking is unavailable in your desired location, be prepared to park at an alternate location and adjust your plans accordingly. And remember, only park in designated parking areas.

“As the Great Spirit was building the mighty Rocky Mountains of North America, His toe caught on one of the tall peaks, and He fell. Below him, the earth’s tender surface was torn open and created a Grand Canyon. As he arose, the Great Spirit raised his Mighty Hand and caused the earth’s surface to erupt into convoluted heaps of folds, wrinkles and Grand Stair Steps.
The Great Spirit paused and was pleased with His changing creation. Great care and much time were taken to organize and beautify the face of the earth lying around Him. He sent the inland sea of Southern Utah away, which revealed the great rocks of the earth rising into incredible pillars, spires and natural bridges. The land was shaped with His myriad snake canyons of Lake Powell, the colorful steps of the Grand Staircase, and undulating sandstone formations of Coyote Buttes. And of course: The Grand Canyon.
On the final day of his Creation, the Great Spirit created his greatest work of all. From the dust of the Earth, he formed Man, to have joy.”
