Scenario 2: You’re sitting down to a Thanksgiving meal with your family. The food smells amazing. Your family is smiling and laughing and everyone is ready to give thanks. Then, your phone beeps. You’ve received a text. You pick up your phone and see that Eliza at Stay Wild PA has texted to tell you that your rental is clean and ready for the incoming guests. She has even left a small welcome basket in celebration of the holiday. You respond, thanking her. Then, you smile and give thanks for your wonderful family, the wonderful meal and Stay Wild PA for having your back.

It’s your cleaner for your 10-bed rental property an hour away. She is sick and unable to make it in to clean today. Ten guests checked out this morning to head home to be with their families and another large family is checking in this evening to have their own Thanksgiving celebration. She waited until now to call you because she forgot to call earlier. You have 2 hours until the next check in. What do you do? How are you going to handle this nightmare? The smiling faces of your family fall as you tell them you have to drive to the rental and clean it before the next guests check in. Then, you message the incoming guests to tell them they will have to check in later and you discount their stay for their trouble, eating into your profits. You brace yourself against the cold as you step out to head for the rental…
