Another one washed up and ready to go!!

This caprice came in as a bought new family heirloom that was in storage for a LONG time. The date on the oil filter was 2016, and the tags were long expired by even that point !

The newest inherited owner wanted to address the issues that got it laid up in the first place , so we set to work replacing the battery, oil pan , coolant , brakes , and a variety of gaskets to stop the oil leaks . We finished it off with a brand new set of Milestar white wall tires for that classic touch on this caprice !!

Another one ready to go!

This corvette came in with a punch sheet of issues , we had the original brass radiator rebuilt, repaired a broken door handle , replaced a few bulbs , and gave it a fresh oil change to get it ready for its hibernation before spring.

Yesterday was something a little bit different, and didn’t take place at the shop.

I had a client call from Ontario Canada, who is interested in purchasing a truck that was here local. And he asked if we could do a pre-purchase inspection for him.

I went and spent several hours doing a comprehensive inspection on this very nice original 52,000 mile truck. I emailed over a folder containing nearly 100 photos, as well as a very detailed inspection report so that he could make an informed decision.

Another repeat customer, back again!!

This 1960 Impala came in today for a rear deck replacement. The original panel had survived decades, but was warped and faded.

We quickly set in disassembling the test seating area to properly clean and install a new one. These are held in with a combination of trim and glue and we copied the factory method of install to ensure several more decades of beauty from the fresh panel.

Today was something a bit different then normal… took a drive to the countryside to do some work on a 57 Chevy.. I don’t do mobile work often, but this is a repeat customer, so I made an exception.

After removing the most certainly original pump we replaced it with a rebuilt unit to get this 57 back to cruising

Another one washed up and ready for cruise night!!

This 76 corvette came in with the owner saying it had some leaks . We quickly set in replacing the old valve cover gaskets, and completely rebuilding the leaky power steering system. We also replaced a cracked windshield washer pump as well to ensure clean vision while tackling those Missouri roads.

We also identified a few more upgrades the owner has in mind and got it back out the door to enjoy these last few weeks of cruising weather!!

Wrapped up a long term project and got it washed up for the weekend cruise!!

This corvette came in several months ago as a family owned project that had been mothballed for several years. It didn’t even roll off the trailer as the wheels were locked up solid!

We jumped in with both feet, replacing the entire braking system, shocks and bushings. We also got the engine running like a top, replacing the intake gaskets to resolve a massive vacuum leak and rebuilding the carb.

Midway through it was decided to replace the interior as well so we called in our upholstery man to work his magic in real leather.

Finally we set if back down to earth on 4 new tires to ensure good traction on the streets for the final weeks of good cruising weather!!

As this car goes to the next generation of the family , we are glad to be of assistance!!

And another one!!

This galaxie came in with a no start and warnings from the owner of a massive electrical problem.

The team quickly set to work sorting the electrical issues, and we identified some oil leaks that the owner also wanted addressed.

Now this galaxie can get back to daily driver status while the owner continues his quest for upgrades.

Another one knocked out of the park!

The owner of this fine GTO came in saying it needed more power … we identified some adjustments that needed to be made with the timing and carburetor, we also suggested some upgrades that could be made in the longer term to free up some more power from this classic American muscle.

Another one washed up and ready to roll out to cruise nights!

This Plymouth Valiant came in with a severe case of mold and mildew , and while being unloaded , the owner and tow driver noticed a coolant leak.

I called the best detailer we have on the team, and he came to help us out with a complete interior extraction and deep cleaning.

Once that was done we set off to solve the coolant leak. We discovered some leaking tubes in the original brass radiator that we promptly repaired and reinstalled before pressure testing the system to ensure no more problems from this classic!!

Another one ready to go!!

This 1960 Impala came in with a slipping clutch, and an oil leak.

The team quickly set out to get the clutch replaced, and get a new valve cover gasket installed. Ensuring this car can make it down the road for many more miles without any slipping or smoke.

Another one washed up and ready for cruise night!!

This 47 ford came in with a rear main seal leaking like the Exxon Valdez! We set to work dropping the pan so we could access the seal. Lots of work to do these properly ! After a solid day of work we got it buttoned up and the main is dry as can be now!!

Today was a two-fer ready for cruise night!!

First up was this beautiful 1956 Lincoln , came in on a no start with a couple seized spark plugs and some oil leaks . We set to work replacing the valve cover gaskets and got it back running in top shape!

The second was a 1965 mustang , the owner had attempted a carb rebuild , but made a couple mistakes along the way. We quickly identified the issues and got it back on the road in only one day! We also changed the oil and quoted a couple upgrades the owner will be addressing this winter.

Didn’t get a chance to wash this one before the owner snuck up on us , but another one is ready for cruise night!!

This GTO came in as a stalled project that had been languishing in the owners garage for almost a decade. We installed a serpentine belt kit, repaired some damaged wiring , a new clutch and prepped the brand new (but 8 years old) engine for a successful first start. Now the owner can bring it into modern times and hit the road running!!
