I currently attend JCCC and will be graduating in the Fall of 2015 with my A.A.S of Entrepreneurial Studies. Over the course of my life I have moved 15 times including one to Iceland. Slowly the Kansas City Metro area become my home and a place I am proud to call home.
In 2011 while on my weekly ritual of finding a new small business to explore I had an idea. Why don't I sent ol' grandma all locally made items to her for Christmas. As a lover of Kansas City small businesses I found it hard to locate all the KC based business items in one place. So I thought to myself could I do anything to bring these wonderful products and art together. Local Focal KC was Born
The vision is to slowly add in new items from local artist and producers. They will range from Items I personally make like my reworked cigar boxes or paintings. Local Focal KC will add gift baskets for sale filled with food, art and items from local producers. To stay local we will only carry products within 200 miles of Kansas city.
