The Beach Villas at KoOlina are currently undergoing a two million dollar exterior painting by Eko painting. Eko crews are brushing and rolling the paint to avoid overspray and odors. For safety reasons, the Lanais shall be closed from 8:30 to 4:30 PM Mon - Friday, whenever a rig is in place for a stack being painted.
The Beach Villa BT1001 stack is scheduled from May 23 through July 13. We are offering our guest 30% discount in compensation for the inconvenience.

Will be great to have the Arizona National memorial open again. It is a sad, yet uplifting experience to pay respects to those young men who sacrificed all.

USS Arizona Memorial REOPENING:

The USS Arizona Memorial will reopen Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019. The National Park Service, in coordination with the United States Navy and contractors, completed the final phase of construction this week. The reopening of the memorial will provide for a safe and enhanced visit to Pearl Harbor, allowing visitors to more closely understand the story and pay their respects to the men aboard the Arizona.

“The National Park Service is excited to welcome our visitors back to the USS Arizona Memorial very soon,” said Pearl Harbor National Memorial Acting Superintendent Steve Mietz. “It is a great honor to share the stories of the men of the USS Arizona, and all of those who served, suffered and sacrificed on Oahu on December 7, 1941. That is the cornerstone of our mission here, and restoration of public access to this iconic place is critical as we continue to tell their stories and honor their memory."

Kailua Beach Park on Oahu was chosen as the #1 beach in the country by Dr. Beach in the annual list of top US beaches published by Stephen Leatherman, a coastal scientist and professor at Florida International University. 50 criteria were used to evaluate beaches with the most weighting going to water cleanliness, safety, beach management, and facilities. Kailua beach was last named best beach in 1998. Kailua beach Park's peacefulness and lack of high-rise development makes it feel like a different world.
