Easter @ the ranch was Babby’s favorite day of the year. There was nothing she loved more than being with my big family and watching the littles hunt eggs. So much has changed over the past 3 years since she’s been gone, but the daily reminders of her never cease to amaze me; this being one of the most special. Uncle T’s bestie, Becca, made this with Babby’s jewelry. And if you knew her, she went nowhere without being “bejeweled” from head to toe. 😁 The feathers at the top were a last minute “add on,” and Becca had no idea of the significance. So once again, we were in tears over Babby’s “wink” from heaven and this unbelievably thoughtful gift. Thank you so much, Becca.🩷

Thanksgiving week @ the ranch was wonderful. 🦃🎄🦃 My 🩷 is full, both girls were home, Clarksy turned 19, we shopped, Hallmarked, decorated for Christmas, and chilled on the couch. ❤️ 3 more weeks til we get to do it all over again.

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted on Insta! I’ll blame it on Senior year!🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 🤪🤪

The Ranch House Retreat has continued to bless us in the midst of all the craziness of Clarksyn’s senior year, Jessa-Claire’s first year of teaching middle school, my 13th year teaching in Sunnyvale, and Morgan’s insurance biz. Going back and forth between 2 houses for THIRTEEN years has been a whirlwind…but worth it! Every summer I would sit out by the pool and think to myself, “No way we can make it happen another year.” But here we are. We did it!!!🥰

Clark graduated, 🎉🎉🎉 and we celebrated her @ the ranch this weekend. I did a little each day to prep for the big day, so you’ll see the progress in these pics. (More to come and more work to be done around here this summer. Always😆)

So yes, our VRBO is still a thing. I’ve had people ask about it since I haven’t posted in a long time. (Or on Facebook) We just had a family from New Jersey stay for a week so they could attend TX graduations and have a family reunion here. 🎓

Summer 2023, you’re finally here, and I can’t believe it.☀️ I’m excited to wake up and sleep here for the next 2 months…or most of it. It’s already rented next weekend with the sweetest family of repeat visitors, and this is a huge compliment to us.🩵

We have been hot and dry here at The Ranch House Retreat like everyone else in the great state. Guests have enjoyed their stays this year and approx. 60% of our guests book directly or are return guests. Be sure to check with us on rates and availability rather than relying on the calendar on VRBO.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about the retreat. In the midst of my craziest school year to date, Morgan doing full-time insurance again, my eldest graduating from college, Clarksyn’s cheer tryouts, practices and end of the year concerts/awards ceremonies…this page hasn’t been updated, but the calendar sure has.🥳🥳🥳 We have been booked solid since March. Thanks to Morgan, he’s kept it rolling here @ the ranch so Clark and I could wrap up our 21-22 school year in town. 🎉It is done, tied up with a big bow, and we now officially have a SENIOR in the house.😢 Happy Summer to you & yours!☀️☀️☀️
