The spacious bedroom is located on the lower floor with a comfortable California King bed, additional seating with armchair and ottoman as well as workstation. You will enjoy the lower floor lanai with access from the bedroom with additional seating which adds to the comfort of your stay. The newly-remodeled bathroom with washer/dryer is located next to the bedroom. Cable television and free Wi-Fi are also included. Keauhou Resort is located in a quiet area just south of Kailua-Kona, nestled within a beautifully landscaped five-acre tropical garden. The property has several on-site amenities which include two saltwater swimming pools, which are surrounded by an abundance of fragrant blooms and lush gardens. Relax, enjoy the sun, cool off in the pools or enjoy a BBQ. Kona Country Club is directly next to Keauhou Resort and is a spectacular public golf course with breathtaking ocean views. The Keauhou Shopping Center is a short walk, which has a number of grocery and dining options. There are boutiques, gift shops, Jams World, gas station, movie theater, heritage center museum, hair Salon/Spa and a post office. A short 5-minute walk down the road is the beautiful Keauhou Bay which has ocean access. Once there you can enjoy kayaking and paddle boarding or sign up for scuba diving, Manta Ray night snorkel (which is the most amazing thing you will ever do), a fishing charter or snorkeling tours. Between Keauhou Resort and Kailua-Kona town you will find numerous beaches for swimming and snorkeling, Kahalu'u Beach State Park, White Sands Beach and Alula Beach to name a few. Spend some time in Kailua-Kona town and from the Kailua-Kona Pier you may enjoy people watching or watching the big cruise ships come in. You'll also have access to some of Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, and whale watching. Visit the famous farmers market, the souvenir shops and local artists. Kona coffee and Hawaiian shave ice are local treats, have a light snack or a gourmet meal. The pier is the official starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship which is held in October. The sunsets from Kona town are spectacular!
