Litter seems to be becoming a way of life even on the scenic by-ways. That is not acceptable. We need to take responsibility for our own waste streams and Recycle Right, Compost what we can, and then properly dispose of the rest. On October 10th, join with companies and people across the nation, to stop and contemplate a Day Without Water and then ACT UP to: protect clean water from industrial and non-point source pollution, change rainwater capture regulations to encourage rainwater capture for use in our buildings and homes, change water treatment regulations to easily allow on-site treatment waste water treatment for reuse. Freshwater is a precious resource.

OMG. The Administration in the White House admits that there will be catastrophic global temperature increases, that humans are the cause, that its policies will add to the problem AND that it doesn't matter because our fates are sealed. How about telling people the truth, encouraging changed behaviors that reduce GHG emissions, tightening rather than loosening environmental regulations, moving to renewable energy and planning for migration away from the coasts. I would much rather see an energized populace than one that meekly follows false hopes and believes braggadocio.

RNG Energy and Philadelphia Energy Solutions announce they have finalized agreements for the new RNG Point Breeze Renewable Energy Biodigester facility in Philadelphia. Establishing a thriving meadow from seed is often challenging and almost always beautiful - it also teaches you about the land, the soil and the weather of a place. This particular place is in Kennett Square not too far from Longwood Gardens .
