The first ever Canicross National Championship is scheduled for December 13th, 14th & 15th in Terre Haute, IN on the LaVern Gibson National Cross Country Course. Do not be fooled by the name, there will be races/events for the elite, competitive age groupers and the run/walk/hobblers amongst us!!! CanicrossUSA, Kenosha Running Company and Musher will be hosting the first ever National Canicross Championship for Elite, Age Groupers, Juniors and Citizen's Run/Walk Events on December 13th, 14th & 15th. Held in Terre Haute, IN on the LaVern Gibson National Cross Country Course. Canicross USA National Championship Entry is now Open!!! Welcome to all of Dog Loving Runners, Walkers and Hobblers!
CanicrossUSA, Kenosha Running Company and Musher are your hosts for the first ever Canicross USA National Canicross Championship Event this December 13th, 14th, and 15th, 2024. The Vigo County Tourism Bureau will make all of us feel right at home!
This weekend of Canicross will unlike anything that has ever been held in the USA before as we embrace the growing sport Canicross, which began for us in 2015. We have welcomed thousands of dog loving runners, walkers and hobblers to our events in SE Wisconsin, to our store in Kenosha, WI and at the events we have attended throughout the Country.
We will be hosting races for everyone and for all abilities. Elite National Championships (qualifying times required), National Age Group Championships, Junior Championships and Citizen Fun Run/Walk events(both days).
The Lavern Gibson National Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, IN, is an ideal course for running & viewing such an event and the venue will allow for ample space for vendors, food trucks, tailgating and your own unique experience.

Canicross USA and Kenosha Running Company will hosting the first ever Canicross National Championship event December 14th &15th, 2024 in Terre Haute, IN on the LaVern Gibson National Championship Course Country Course. We are finalizing many aspects of the race and reaching out to potential sponsors currently. Here is my question, in addition to the individual aspects for the Elite, Age Group, Junior Championships...what if we added a Team Aspect and scored it like a Course Country Meet. Each Team would be four runners, perfect score being "10". This race would be 4k in distance and held on Sunday. We would have individual champions and a team championship.
