Both classes were FULL within two days and these two classes of participants had great questions and we were able to help ease some of their concerns. We're back in the studio this week showing you how to take a nursery stock tree and turning it into a beginner bonsai.

Remember, this isn't supposed to be one of those museum quality bonsai trees. Those take decades of refinement to achieve. This is just day one of some serious bonsai training. We believe everyone should be able to find joy in bonsai regardless of what level they're at. A beginner bonsai can be enjoyed just as much as a museum bonsai.

The spruce penjing forest that Robert created during the Olympia Bonsai Club meeting on Thursday! Here is a video of another incredible penjing master, Wong Chau Shing. He is known for his rock fusion technique where he grows the tree into the rock and the two become one.
