We are looking at heading to Boston again, June 9-22, 2018. This time we are looking at French and Indian War and American War for Independence sites all the way to Montreal. Also, taking the ferry to Nantucket. Who wants to go?

We have two more expeditions to announce:

#1: On October 26-30, 2017 we will tour Civil War battlefields of Southern Louisiana. This is starting and ending in Houston. We have a half dozen spots left, depending on if you are traveling solo or can share a bed.

#2: On July 6-18, 2018, we are heading to the South Pacific for a four day land + seven day sea (live aboard dive boat) World War II tour of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. Serious inquiries only (this one is already pretty full).

Updated Tour Information...

Our excellent December 2016 speaker Don Frazier is organizing and will lead a tour, based in New Orleans and Lafayette, of the Louisiana sites he described in December, to be held during our usual HCWRT field trip time frame: October 26 – 30, 2017. Details about this tour are included in the flyer below and this month’s HCWRT newsletter.

"Texans on the Teche" will be a memorable tour by Dr. Frazier, professor of history at McMurry University, and President/CEO of the McWhiney History Education Group. He is an award-winning author of books on the American Civil War, Texas History, Military History, and the US-Mexican Borderlands.
