2021 was an amazing year from the beautiful weather to the salmon return and run. I'm thankful for the new people we met and we're thankful those same people who took a piece of Alaska home with them.

If there's one thing Alaska has is plenty of fresh air and a healthy environment we can all be proud of. There had been, to date fourteen confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ketchikan. Thirteen of the them have recovered 101% and the fourteenth is expected to do well also. We Americans are not made of weak men and we will all get through this together and stronger on the other side

It was another fantastic summer and fishing season. This year my guests landed over 2000 pounds of salmon, halibut, ling cod, and snapper and left with, not only the best fish in the Pacific, but a life time of great stories.

These are the fall colors of Ketchikan and SE Alaska. Not at all the same as what you'd find in the Mid-West or New England states, but it's what we offer here, and it's a nice thing if not a little smelly.
