Day 3 and final day of what to do in Orlando when not visiting the theme parks....see the manatees.

Today, we traveled about an hour north to Blue Springs State Park. From mid-November to March, hundreds of manatees congregate in the spring run to seek shelter from the cold. Today there were 349 manatees in the spring. Every morning two people take on the daunting task of counting how many manatees are in the spring.It’s a truly unforgettable sight to see so many of these iconic animals in one place.

Day 2 of things to do in Orlando when you don't go to the theme parks, make a reservation at a Disney dining location.

We snagged an early morning breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe where the all you can eat skillet is sure to keep you full for the duration of the day. After breakfast we took a monorail tour of the resorts. Disney knows how to do Christmas with all of their beautiful trees and even a life size gingerbread house.

Orlando has several outlets malls and today we ventured to the premium outlets. It was also the same idea of probably 5000 other people 😂 (okay, maybe not that many). It was busy!

We ended the night at Disney Springs to enjoy some much needed dessert. The boys and I decided to share a bubble waffle sundae. While the others chose Starbucks.

The weather was a bit dreary and chilly today, but it was still so fun regardless of the temperature.

Day 1 of things to do in Orlando when not visiting the theme parks, go orange picking!

Today, we visited Showcase of Citrus. There is so much to see and do there. We got there just as it opened and only a few others were there. Fed the animals and went mining. We booked a time to go out into the orange grove to pick oranges and enjoyed a couple different types of ice cream floats. Showcase of Citrus also has a 45 minute monster truck ride, which costs 25.00 per adult and 15.00 per child. It was such a fun morning. Before we left, their onsite food trucks were opening for lunch!

Definitely a must do in Orlando!
