Chilly Winter mornings can be a little tough on the water, but the scenery really softens the blow. The phone only got about 2/3 of the sunrays leaking through this cloud line but it was incredible at sunrise. Always grateful for time spent in nature and getting to share that with others .

It’s been a great December so far fishing with some great folks from all over the world. Lots of variety both in the fishing and the weather. Excited to fishing up strong. Very grateful for the folks that choose to spend their vacation time with me.

What do fishing guides do in their free time? We fish. It’s important to stay on the water consistently to help stay on patterns and conditions. Recently spent a “day off” fishing with fellow guide here in Key West chasing bonefish with the fly rod. Always grateful to get some time to enjoy this wonderful resource with good friends.

Some deep water wreck fishing before the weather came in with . Lionfish came from almost 300 ft down. Only second I’ve ever had someone catch on hook and line.

Bonefishing remains strong with the calmer stable weather pattern we’ve been having lately. It’ll continue to improve as summer moves on.

With the calmer weather we’ve been having the bonefishing has gotten incredible. Although available to target year round the summer and fall is the best time of year to target them. Very grateful for such wonderful fish.
