One of my favorite Key West events coming this spring!

Key West has many historic points of interest. This one is the Gato Building. Built in 1920, it was a cigar factory that once employed 500 cigar makers and produced over 60,000 ci**rs in a year, all rolled by hand! Today it is a government building, that will likely be around for while as it was built to withstand both hurricanes and fires. The Eduardo Gato Cigar Factory is #17 on the Key West Historic Markers Tour.

Lobsterfest 2024 is right around the corner!

27th annual Lobsterfest is the biggest party of the summer in Key West. The opening of lobster season begins August 6th and Lobsterfest runs August 8-11, 2024.
