Key West fishing charters.

Our 40 SeaHunter is a Carbon and Kevlar hull made for performance and it's all about fishing. The overall length of the boat is 42 feet and with Triple 275 hp four stroke motors (825hp) she gets where she wants to go in a hurry. Make no mistake there is no substitute for size on the water. Although the hull design is an amazing running hull, the size and displacement makes her even more impressive and very stable in the water. Being 42 foot long she has all the room in the world for her 6 passengers for fishing. You'll never feel crowded on this fishing machine. She has the ride of the big offshore boats with the fishability of a center console.

The oversized T-top gives lots of shade including seating in the shade. The twin 60 gallon live wells enable us to carry more and different types live bait which quite often makes all the difference in a day of fishing. We are equipped with Garmin GPS, Furuno fish finder, Furuno radar, Icom VHF, TR1 auto pilot and stereo. As you can see she is loaded to the hilt with top of the line electronics. The tackle is Shimano rods as well as custom rods, the reels are Finnor and Penn for all your fishing needs from 10lb test to 80lb tackle. She has a full private head (toilet) for your comfort. As we approach the reef, your experienced crew provides a professional safety and instruction snorkeling course and talks about the reef’s marine wildlife. Don’t worry if you are new to snorkeling, the crew answers all your questions. All equipment is included with the tour – sanitized snorkel, mask, fins and buoyancy vest.

Key West Floating Tiki Sunset Cruise:
Enjoy this sunset cruise without the crowds on one of our Cruisin' Tikis. Enjoy the sunset tiki style as you glide through the aqua blue waters of the keys with your friends, family, small group, or on a romantic trip for two. We will cruise around the Historic Seaport, pass Sunset Pier and Mallory Square ending with the magnificent Key West Sunset. All cruises are BYOB for alcoholic beverages, food or snacks. We provide USCG certified captains, coolers with ice, water, sodas, cups, and Bluetooth radio to play your favorite tunes.

Daily sunset cruises:
7pm to 8:30pm

$79.95 per person or $450 for a private charter (for up to 6 people)... Larger groups may split onto multiple tikis!

Do you want to include a fishing charter in your Key West vacation?

Here's what you need to know.......

There are three options for fishing in Key West……

Private Charter:
A private charter fishing boat can legally carry a maximum of up to 6 passengers. Reservations include a professional captain and a cooler full of ice along with a fishing license and all fishing supplies. You supply the food and drinks. Prices range from about $800 for 4 hours to around $1,300 for a full day, depending on what boat is available. Half day would be from 9am – 1pm or 1pm – 5pm. Full day is 9am – 5pm.

Split Charter:
A split charter is the same as a private fishing charter, except you pay for a seat instead of the whole boat. Maximum number of passengers is 6, same as a private charter. We have several fishing boats that do this and the average price is around $200 per person for a 4 hour charter and $250 per person for an 6 hour charter. Split charters for 8 hour charters are not available.

Party barge:
The least expensive option for a fishing charter in Key West. It’s a large barge that carries about 50 passengers. For this charter, the captain decides for the group where the best fishing would be. There is a snack bar on board where you can order a limited selection of drinks and snacks. $72 per person.

I was talking to a nice lady from New York this morning and she told me she has never been to a sandbar in her whole life. Wait. What? Unacceptable!
