We are a dedicated team of pilots and aviation enthusiasts who have been operating a successful helicopter tour company near Mount Rushmore for several years. Our company has not only provided breathtaking aerial views of this iconic landmark to tourists from around the world but has also played a crucial role in advancing the careers of aspiring pilots in the industry.

Unfortunately, recent National Park System and Federal Aviation Authority decisions have threatened to shut down or significantly stifle our operations based in large on environmentalists' wants and not facts, putting the livelihoods of our team members and the future of our pilot training programs at risk.

Without the ability to continue our tours and training, many talented pilots will be left without the opportunity to gain valuable experience and needed hours to advance their careers in the aviation industry.

Crazy Horse Memorial is dedicated to honoring the memory of Crazy Horse, a prominent Native American leader of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe.

The primary feature of the memorial is the colossal sculpture of Crazy Horse on the face of Thunderhead Mountain. This sculpture, when completed, will be the largest sculpture in the world, significantly larger than Mount Rushmore.

It is our final winter for a while as winter is on its way out and spring will be welcomed in. The Mountain Crew is at work on the Mountain Carving through all seasons. Currently, rock removal and finish work continues on the back side of the Sculpture. In this photo you can see a Crew Member torching on Crazy Horse’s Pinkie finger. With even the smallest finger towering over the Carver, this is a great shot to help put the Carving into size perspective!
