Did you know that only 4% of research money for cancer research is ear marked for pediatrics? And that most cancer drugs and therapies were designed in the 50’s and 60’s? Sad isn’t it? That our most vulnerable and smallest souls are given the left overs?

The Monka Foundation was established in late 2021 in memory of Insley Horn. This foundation is going to help change those numbers. We had our first annual silent auction and gala this weekend and it was an amazing event to be a part of. Will you join our fight to get more funding for children with cancer?

Jumped on a quick pedicab yesterday with some friends when we accidentally left our car keys behind. We laughed so hard as this poor kid pedaled us three grown women across town! However this beauty was on our trek! Is there anything more Charleston than a home like this and palm trees?
