Enjoy morning coffee from the ocean-view lanai or spectacular nightly sunsets in this modern and recently newly decorated 1 bedroom/1 bath condo featuring all the amenities of home. The Kamaole Beach Royale complex sits across from Kamaole Beach Park 1, a beach that was rated Maui's No. 1 swimming beach by 'Maui Revealed' in 2012 and is three to five minutes away on foot. You’ll feel like a local yocal here and not a tourist! This unit has great views from the lanai, yet sits far enough away from the street to minimize road noise. The concrete building and the way the lanai is designed (closed off from neighbors) affords you extra privacy and quietness.
This unit is fully furnished, bed linens, washcloths, hand towels, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen towels, dishcloths and starter products for the kitchen and bathroom are provided.
The all-electric kitchen has a full-size washer/dryer, microwave, stove and oven, full-size refrigerator and freezer with ice maker, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and in-sink garbage disposal. The kitchen is outfitted with cutlery, utensils, plates, bowls, to-go containers, coffee cups, glasses, pots, pans, crockpot, electric skillet, electric hot water carafe, and rice cooker - everything you need to create your own meals or meals on the go.
In the living room, there is a NEW 60" flat-screen TV with DVR so you won't miss your favorite shows. Also, there is a combination VHS/DVD player, CD player with Bluetooth capability and a modest selection of paperback books. Complimentary Wi-Fi and toll-free calling throughout the US and Canada are included. The living room sofa has a Queen-size sleeper and there's a dining table that seats four.
The entry, kitchen and bathroom all have new white tile flooring and there's new hardwood laminate flooring in the bedroom and living room. There is an air conditioner which cools the entire unit and ceiling fans throughout the condo. There is surprisingly great cross-ventilation when the lanai and bedroom and/or front doors are open. You can even hear the surf at night!
The bedroom has a comfortable California King bed, plenty of closet and drawer space and a 30" flat-screen cable TV.
The bathroom has a tile shower stall with shower head and glass doors.
Guests can take advantage of the 7th-floor rooftop area with tables, chairs and 2 BBQ gas grills. Unobstructed panoramic mountain and ocean 360-degree views! It's the best spot for watching Maui's glorious sunsets, and whales (in season). In addition to the rooftop lounge area, the property has a beautiful solar-heated garden pool area with lounge chairs and an Aloha room with a quiet seating area, bathrooms, and a shower. The shuffleboard court is adjacent to the pool area.
Beach gear is located in the unit including a cooler, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys.
Parking at the complex is free and unassigned, and one parking stall per unit is permitted.
A recycling program is in place with receptacles and a trash chute in the trash room on each floor next to the elevator.
The Kamaole Beach Royale Resort is ideally located in the heart of Kihei on the South side of the island near Wailea. Bus stops are a short block away, making it possible to go without a rental car. Bus schedules are available in the office. There is also a Kihei shuttle service called Turtle Tracks that can transport you anywhere in Kihei and Wailea for $3 per ride. Premier golf courses are located in the Wailea/Kihei area as well as many wonderful beaches along South Maui.
A couple of great recreational parks are nearby:
-The Cove which provides surfing and Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding lessons, and
-Kalama Park, featuring a baseball field, tennis courts, skateboard facility, outdoor inline skating rink, picnic and playground areas.
Kamaole Beach Royale is very conveniently located for all who come as visitors, business travelers and/or sport and outdoor enthusiasts. Restaurants, scuba and snorkel shops, a health food store, gas stations, an ABC Store and various other shops are all within walking distance. Kalama Village has a concentration of shops and sports bars with good eating and nightly entertainment. A food truck court is available nearby also.

Aloha! We bought our condo in August of 2016 and love visiting Maui. There is so much to do in Maui and we are trying to whittle down our bucket list of things to do on Maui with each and every visit. We live in the Midwest near Lake Michigan and love visiting Maui and neighboring islands.
My husband and I got "Maui'd" in the year 2000 and also fell in love with the islands that year. We are a family of three now and enjoy traveling to Hawaii at least once a year.
We enjoy meeting different people from all over the world on the island. Everybody is so friendly everywhere you go. There is a sense of Aloha in Maui for sure! Maui No Ka Oi!
Why the Owner Chose Kihei, Maui:
We love that the condo is located in a more affordable location on Maui but yet close to the beach and WOW what a view from the lanai!! It was "helloooooo Kamaole Beach Royale" from there!! :) I like to do activities and relax on vacation and not worry about Lahaina traffic (unless I absolutely have to) and love being able to quickly travel to Kahului, Paia and beyond to Hana.
The Features of This Condo:
There are tons of restaurants and stores within walking distance or a short drive away. Having the beach across the street is wonderful also. Condo living affords you the opportunity to cook your own meals, pack lunches on the go and have the ability to wash/dry your clothes so you don't have to take a ton of clothes with you.
No RESORT FEES, and no nickel and diming you for everything...yay! You get to spend your money on other things besides beach rentals, Wi-fi and parking that some of the hotels make you pay for.
There are only a handful of buildings in Maui that have a rooftop garden and this is one of them. Relax and soak in the 360-degree views, cook on the gas grills and eat at the tables that are provided on the rooftop. The rooftop garden is also a great place to view those gorgeous Maui sunsets.
