There are two public aerial fireworks displays planned in Maui County this year–in South Maui at the Grand Wailea Resort, and at the Four Seasons Resort Lānaʻi at 1 Mānele Bay Road. Both displays begin at approximately 11:59 p.m., New Yearʻs Eve, Dec. 31, 2023.

There's a lot of people here on the mainland who have been asking me how my family and friends are doing on the island of Maui, and if it's okay to still plan their vacation on Maui. I tell them my family and friends are doing well, but businesses are hurting right now, so please go visit Maui and enjoy yourself with what the island of Maui has to offer you. Be respectful to the people and avoid going to areas where the fire has hit. I know that the town of Lahaina is one of Maui's top spots to visit, but there's many beautiful places to visit on Maui. I know that a lot of people are hesitating to book their vacation to Maui because of certain people saying Maui is close, but those people are not speaking for everyone. They are not thinking clearly unfortunately. Maui will still welcome you in and treat you like Ohana.

Feeling the ❤ at our West Maui resort, Kulena. Several condominium owners immediately reached out with offers to house and support Kuleana workers and their families affected by the devastating wildfires. Owners at many of the other properties where we manage units have offered assistance or long-term housing options to ease the burden in our community, through community agencies on island. The generous support of these property owners is greatly appreciated!
