Over the holidays, our 2024 guests and homeowners helped our Giving Committee by selecting their favorite charity in our Giving Tuesday poll!

Coastal Humane Society was the top-voted non-profit, followed by Surfing for Autism, OBX Room in the Inn, Interfaith Community Outreach, and Outer Banks Forever. In addition, a donation was made to the Hurricane Helene Relief Fund at The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

We’re happy to support these amazing community organizations in their work and look forward to giving back more in 2025!

In honor of the 121st anniversary of the Wright brothers' historic first powered flights, Wright Brothers National Memorial is FEE FREE today, December 17, 2024.

On this day in 1870, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was lit for the very first time! This coastal beacon is currently undergoing extensive restoration work both inside and out. We can't wait to see this Outer Banks icon shine again!
