Cloud Nine OBX is a Jewelry shop right here on the Outer Banks established in 1988 and now in their 35th year! They make some of their own jewelry but also sell consignment art from local artists! Sanctuary Vineyards is an OBX winery located in Currituck. They make all different types of wines from chardonnays to red blends to Rosés. Jewelry by Gail, Inc.

Gail opened her own design studio in 1982 right here on the Outer Banks. She has won tons of awards for her work and several celebrities have worn her jewelry. Each piece that she makes is one of a kind and takes hours and hours to create. The jewelry is gorgeous in photos, but there’s nothing like seeing it in person, so go check out the show rooms for yourself!

Soundside Recycling & Materials, Inc. is a locally owned recycling company on the Outer Banks for asphalt, concrete, yard debris and other waste. They’re an all women owned company serving Currituck and Dare counties for over 20 years. The goal of Soundside Recycling & Materials is to turn waste that would end up in the landfill, into usable material for all sorts of products. They sell recycled mulch, topsoil, compost, crushed concrete and asphalt millings. For any recycling needs they are the company for it!

Pigman's BBQ has brought the Outer Banks an Eastern North Carolina-style BBQ for over 35 years! They have multiple types of BBQ and sauces to satisfy all sorts of palates! Tuna-que is Pigman’s signature OBXMade BBQ. They source their fresh yellowfin tuna from Outer Banks fishermen and then smoke it to perfection. Pigman’s Bar-B-Que is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 7 days a week. Go check them out!!

Earth Resources is an OBXMADE recognized business working out of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. While also selling rocks of all shapes and sizes, Earth Resources’ OBXMADE product is OBX Mulch. The process for making the mulch starts with raw logs and brush which are cut up into smaller wood shreds. Then the wood shreds are shredded more and mixed with coloring and water to create the final mulch product.

Earth resources started making mulch about 5 years ago to help landscapers and contractors find a better place to dispose of yard waste while also creating a sustainable local product.
