This is why people have so much fun on ATA's adventures. I was with the Killington summer camp, waiting for some kids to catch up. I suggested to the one of the better paddlers to ride off the bank. And he did it! Listen to the kids comments he's saying "this is so stupid why am I doing it" and the kid later is asking "why are you doing this" LOL. We love fun!

No one else specializes in larger groups like we do! For our flat water paddle, We have a group of 22( family & friends). Ranging from 2,5,7,8,10 year old, plus 16 adults and kids!

Thanks everyone for the lovely post. Here are some pics from our adventures i Canada from the past winter. He has always traveled with me from 1st trip out of state.

Ae**us liver and kidney are failing. He lost 1/3 of his body weight. He has good and bad day's. Doesn't eat for most part unless I spoon feed him. It's been a great adventure, I've been so lucky to have shared our time together.

Ae**us update: I was hoping for better news but figured this was coming. He has been suffering for heart failure the last 2 months. His heart is in stage d which is the worst it could give out at any moment.

In the past couple months I saw four different vets three of them put Imaging of aolus and all of them diagnosed it wrong until his heart doctor. One called a large mass next to its heart but that actually was his heart🤦‍♂️

He's doing pretty well considering got his appetite back. However the cough is not going away we're trying to adjust his medication.

I'm just enjoying every day with them even just sitting around the house. He could be here for 6 months or 6 days as dr put it ae**us would be a candidate for heart transplant.

This will affect my snowmobile season. No way someone could watch this guy he takes medication five times a day. That's 16 pills per day!!

With increased medications Ae**us is doing much better starting atound noon yesterday. He can lie down and even jumped on the sofa last night. Still won't eat I hope today he will start.

The night prior was tough with Non-Stop cardiac failure episodes. That's when he's breathing heavy mouth open gums are all white. We were up all night until about 4:00 when he finally fell asleep.

My little buddy aelous is not doing well. His heart murmur got worse and was/is close to heart failure.

Good news he's been on low dosage of medication so that might help with the increased dosage in the next few days 🤞

he is 13 yrs old not bad with stage 3 mumur..

2k so far this week on vet bills🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ another 1k next week at heart specialist. ❤️

He can't lie down it really affects him so he's been falling asleep sitting in upright position. I put some blankets and pillows to make it easier for him 🙏

Got to do favorite adventure today...kayak on white water! I had so much fun it and so did the family. Conditions were ideal plenty of water some really fun Rapids. Not typical for this time of year. Not my best pictures it was tough day for pics with a strong current.

Just look at the joy/ happiness on her face after rolling her kayak in a rapid section.

Aelous is turning 13 years old this month! First his an off leash beagle, not easy to do,lol. He loves the wtr I think hes part lab,lol. For 13 he looking really good still running when he wants but other wise hes going much slower this season

Never thought I'd see the rivers like Hurricane Irene But Here We Go Again . As a kayaking guide I have to tell you I'm actually scared of the river! You can hear the boulders it sounds like thunder.
