Had a interesting day fishing the Potomac River today with Josh. Got a lot of fish on topwater but I had to wait up to 10 seconds sometimes to get the bite. Other times I hadn't barely engaged the spool on my Lew's Custom Inshore. Patience is a virtue surprisingly even in this fall transition. The bite nonetheless is great is the Bass are hungry. Even caught one with a big craw in his throat and still wanted topwater. I will be transitioning into trips to Lake Anna VA now and the coming months for Striper and Crappie. I FISH ALL YEAR!! Spring is here and the bass are hungry. Temps are climbing beautifully and so.e pf the best freshwater fishing is right on our front door.
