Thank you so much to those who have reached out to check on us in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

We are safe, but many in Southern Appalachia are suffering tremendous loss—entire homes gone, people missing, roads and bridges destroyed. Many of our neighbors in Western North Carolina are trapped due to impassable roads. It’s truly a heartbreaking experience to watch it unfold before our very eyes.

We’re working with trusted locals to take supplies as we can. It feels overwhelming and helpless honestly, but all we can do, is for each and every one of us to do the best we can. One day at a time. A collective effort is the greatest thing we can do for each other.

As of this morning, 73 people remain unaccounted for in Unicoi County alone, and our hearts ache for our Appalachian community.

We will soon share legitimate ways you can help in our stories as we know them.

Please keep lifting us up. Our community is resilient, and though this disaster is unprecedented, we will rebuild together.

We wanted a logo that captures the calm, minimalist vibe of Peaceful Peak and perfectly aligned with its serene, natural surroundings. 🌿

Growing a local business can be challenging, and we collaborate with numerous local entrepreneurs to offer our guests specially curated options during their stay at Peaceful Peak. Through this endeavor, we've forged wonderful friendships, and mutual support is truly a blessing.

Furthermore, we collaborate with our videographer LionCat Media to highlight downtown Kingsport's local businesses, providing our guests and followers with a glimpse of everything our area has to offer. In December, we featured Inspire Wine Bar,The Hair Benders Salon and BluLis Boutique, culminating in a giveaway for our followers. The lucky winner and their family will be staying with us at the end of this month, and it's their first visit to our area. 🙌🏻

This initiative serves as an excellent platform to showcase your business, and we intend to organize more of these events in the future. Our region boasts a plethora of remarkable attractions, and we take pride in showcasing the beauty of East Tennessee to the world. 🫶🏻

Welcome Phoenix! 🐕🫶🏻Some time ago, we were offered the chance to adopt a dog that needed a new home. We’ve been quietly considering a companion for our sweet rescue Maple since our Yorkie Simon passed away years ago; but we felt the right opportunity would come at the right time to open our hearts to another. The previous owner was adjusting to the arrival of their newborn and full-time jobs, making it difficult for them to make the hard decision 😢. Initially, they just couldn’t let him go, which I empathized with and know must be incredibly hard.Now, after some time and careful consideration, they decided it was best for him to be in an environment where he could thrive with room to run and exert his energy while having a loving home. We should never shame someone for doing what’s best for them and the animal by rehoming. 🫶🏻 Though we’ve never owned an Aussie, I’ve always admired their beauty and intelligence, even knowing they are very high energy. Since Maple has always gotten along well with other animals and we have acreage for him to run - we decided to give Phoenix a loving home when the opportunity came around once again. Meet Sir Phoenix. Energetic, loving, playful, and smart; he’s 16 months old and full of life. We hope our guests will be a little patient with Phoenix as we train him to his new environment. Maple on the other hand, 😂 is letting him know who the queen is. As a pet friendly @airbnb we strive to offer a beautiful home as well as a place for your pups to run and play.
