Thoughts tonight…
The cabins are empty. The moon is full. Snow is on the ground. It’s peaceful. It’s quiet. It’s beautiful. I’m warm and cozy in my cabin. Soon, the cabins will be filled, campfires will be going, sounds of folks outside, and I’ll get to meet more wonderful guests. As I look out my windows, I’m thankful. And amazed. Amazed that almost 5 years ago, when I started this ‘project’, something I’ve never done before, moving to a faraway place I’ve never lived, I didn’t have clue what I was doing. But God led me thru it. That’s the only explanation. God put me here. Bought some land, cause Mama told me you can’t go wrong buying land. Thought came to me I need something to do up here, so build some cabins. Found the best builder in this area, Carl Holt, and he walked me thru it. But half way thru it in the the big C epidemic, I was like ‘what the heck am I doing’?🤣 But it got done! Winter is a challenge up here. It gets real cold, with ice and snow. Roads get bad. It is beautiful tho. And if you could make it here, you’d enjoy this peace and beauty at this time of year. I’ve met some amazing very nice guests in 5 years, and I’m thankful for all of you! I’m blessed and thankful tonight for this experience in my life. Thankful that God led me to create these cozy cabins for yall to stay in while enjoying this beautiful area!
Now… yall get to making those reservations, so I can keep the lights on!🤣
