The fantastic ladies with the Cheat River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are sponsoring a trip to the DAR Constitution Hall Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

This is happening just in time to see the special sewing and quilting exhibit at the DAR Museum, called, "Sewn in America."

Here are all the details:
- Date: Tuesday, July 16 (down and back in one day).
- The cost is $89 per person for transportation. Does not include meals.
- Leaving Kingwood, WV Wal-Mart parking lot at 6:00 am
- Pickup in Morgantown, WV at the Wal-Mart on 4H camp road at 6:40 am.
-Pickup in LaVale, MD at the Bob Evans (gravel lot) at 8 am.
- We'll stop for a quick breakfast along the way. You may pack food or purchase during our stop.
- Arrive in DC around 11:15 am. Will have a drop off at DAR Constitution Hall. After that, the bus will also drop off and be parked on Madison Drive behind the Smithsonian (if anyone would rather go to that area).
- Lunch and dinner will be on your own in D.C.
- We will leave DC at 7pm.

At the DAR Constitution Hall, there are many things you can do:
-Tour the DAR headquarters
-Visit the DAR Museum (where the Sewn in America exhibit is)
-Tour the period rooms
-Visit the genealogy library
-Shop (in the DAR shop and also the museum shop)

All of these items are free to attend and open to the public.
If someone you know would like to visit DC and do some non-DAR sightseeing, they are welcome to join us and explore on their own as well.

Lone Pine Bus Lines is hiring professional drivers to help maintain company growth.

If you enjoy travel, a flexible schedule, sports, concerts, and beach trips, we want to hear from you. Shepherd Bus Tours trips include spouse travel, so our drivers are able to enjoy their time, too! We encourage family time for our drivers. This is strictly limited to Shepherd’s trips.

Driver’s pay scale will only be discussed at the time of interview and not on a post. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Requirements:

- CDL Class A or B
- Air-brake Endorsement
- Passenger Endorsement
- Minimum of two (2) years experience driving a commercial vehicle. Bus experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check, and possess an acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Must pass a road test
- Must be willing to travel on the weekends
