Farewell & Best Wishes to Tony! 🎉

After seven incredible years at Taste NY at the Southern Tier Welcome Center, our amazing Tourism Ambassador, Tony or "Tourism Tony", is retiring!

Tony has played a key role in making the Welcome Center a go-to spot for travelers, always going above and beyond to help visitors plan their New York adventures. With his wealth of travel experience, he has expertly guided countless guests to iconic destinations like the waterfalls of Ithaca, Letchworth State Park, and Niagara Falls.

Not only has Tony been an expert trip planner, but he has also been a passionate supporter of the Taste NY program—introducing travelers to New York’s finest local products, from wineries and breweries to unique local specialties. If you’ve ever left with a new favorite snack, there’s a good chance Tony convinced you to try it!

What Tony will miss most? Helping people and sharing his love for travel. What’s next? More time hiking, exploring, and enjoying the great outdoors!
