Preslee has been fighting Rhabdomyosarcoma but this week she is taking a break to dance and sing with the princesses. 🏰 👑

The strength and grace of these children is truly astounding.

Sharing perspective in hopes it helps others.

If no one is promised their next moment, then that makes this moment your only certainty. The past is irrelevant; the future is uncertain, which means the only reality and truth you can hold onto is THIS moment.

When Vyla was diagnosed with a malignant tumor, my life became an anxiety-ridden nightmare I could no longer control. I began therapy to cope with the uncertainty and trauma that was now my life.

Today I can tell you that I am able to find beauty in the fragility of our existence. We seize every day with the same passion and understanding that this very moment is ours and the only tangible truth.

Pediatric cancer is a monster and something we have little control over, but we have control over this moment and our outlook. Perspective of our circumstances affects reactions to the only moment promised. This moment. Make sure that every moment you are given counts.

When the doctors told us we’d be surprised how resilient children are when fighting cancer we truly had no idea.

Rhea had her leg amputated a few weeks ago and is a shining example of resilience. She took on the fight with grace and strength and makes it look easy.

We are humbled and pleased to confirm Rhea and her family will be staying as our guests this spring 💕.

Our foundation will provide 2 tickets for 3 days to Disney and a weeks lodging for a family up to 14!

We received CLEAR SCAN results which means we’re back to focusing on our sweet pediatric families!!!

We can’t wait to send our next family and November & December are open!!!!

Our mission is always pediatric cancer kids first but this week we have to focus on our own. Scans are being done today to follow up on a spot found on her lung.

We will have results next week but in the meantime, say a prayer and send some love our way please 💛🎗.

Disney may seem like a small gesture in the midst of a cancer journey but to these families it means so much more.

It’s the sunshine in the middle of a hurricane. It gives families the opportunity to share in laughter and make memories that might not be possible without the foundations help.

We know these effects first hand and will continue supporting the children with every breath.

Imagine 🤔 Your kid just BEAT cancer and despite all odds you’re celebrating victory in Disney!

For a week bedtime doesn’t matter because your schedule doesn’t revolve around hospitals, dr. visits, scans, radiation, chemo and blood counts.

This week is for taking back moments of their childhood. This week, cancer doesn’t exist.

This is the goal of VSW. Celebrating life, creating magical memories and retaking childhood even for a moment.

Paisley and her buddies have spent a day at Animal Kingdom, Universal and Disney Springs.

I have to say that going to Disney is great but sending these cancer warriors is 100x’s greater and my new favorite! 🎗💛

These last minute trips will be harder for the families to afford but that’s what we’re here for. We need your help to come alongside these families and support.

Discover our why. 🦄

Vyla was diagnosed with a malignant tumor at age four🎗. When she was initially hospitalized she begged us to take her from her hospital and directly to the castle. We obviously couldn’t but we promised her as soon as the doctors cleared her, we would go. 💕

Vyla asked almost daily about her promised trip. When we finally made it to the castle after a long hard battle I realized that she wasn’t the only one who needed the trip. We all needed the magical getaway. 👸🏽

Since that trip we bought a home in the Kissimmee area to continue her preventative care🏡. When we are not using the home, we are happy to host other families heading to the castle, but our pediatric cancer patients hold a special place in our hearts💛.

Hosting childhood cancer patients is a privilege and helps us build a community among a small group of warriors🎗. We are so thankful to have this opportunity thanks to all of you.
