Over the past week, we have released a series of posts to help your family navigate the Disney Parks. We hope you have enjoyed to get to know us better, and have become a little more familiar with the Disney Parks.

Our Top 3 Tips when doing Disney at The Royal Villa:

1. PLAN! Make Dining reservations(up to 60 days in advance), Genie +, check park hours, know what to expect from the weather, and prioritize your rides. Do not show up the day of without a plan, you do not want to spend your day waiting in line for rides, looking for a restaurant that can seat you, or wander aimlessly about the parks.

2. STAY AWAY FROM THE DISNEY CROWDS! Everyone loves the 'Extra Magic Hours' that Disney World offers to their guests staying on site. Believe it or not, so do we! When the on-site Disney guests hear about the 'Extra Magic Hours', they naturally follow all of Disney's other guests down that same path. We pick a different park and avoid crowds that the Disney 'Magic Hours' bring with them(Disney has 25 on site resorts that have over 30,000 rooms). We may lose an hour a two or day at the parks, but we are able to stay clear of the long lines of Disney guests.

3. TAKE BREAKS!! Is there a better feeling than being there for rope drop, leaving by 1:00 after hitting your favorite rides, and coming back that same evening feeling rested and rejuvenated? We leave The Royal Villa one hour before the park opens and we are near the front of our favorite attraction as the rope drops. We ride our favorites and walk out as many others are walking in to start their day. Minutes later, we are in the comfort of our own home for lunch, pool break, or nap time. A shower and change of clothes later, we are back to our theme park ready to stay as late as our children allow. Far too often we see families running on empty at 6,7,or 8:00 with frustration levels through the roof. While we are recharged and ready to go, others are contemplating if their children(or they themselves) can make it to the firework show.

7 years ago today we completed our major renovation projects. Homeaway/VRBO named us the ' #1 Large Vacation Home near Disney World' in Spring 2020! We were ranked #1 out of 162 homes that feature 5+ bedrooms and a private pool with being within 3 miles of Walt Disney World.

Part 4, Animal Kingdom

Our fourth post takes us to Disney's newest theme park, Animal Kingdom. Believe it or not, Animal Kingdom is Disney's largest theme park...by far! It is so much more than your typical zoo experience, and with the addition of Pandora, it is a park that should not be skipped(especially at night)!

Our third post takes us to the park that has undergone a complete transformation. Starting in 2008 when MGM Studios suddenly became Hollywood Studios, this park has experienced much change. With the recent additions of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land, Hollywood Studios is one of most sought out theme parks in the United States.

Our second post takes us to none other than the 'big golf ball' itself, Epcot. The Expermental Prototype Community of Tomorrow was Disney's second theme park and opened in 1982. While you may not know it, but Epcot is actually double the size of the Magic Kingdom. Whether you are 'drinking around the world' or taking in one of their annual festivals, we believe that Epcot has a lot to offer for all ages.
