Eleven years. For eleven years, these weird curtain things have bugged me. I tried so many times to get a contractor to build some fitted window trims but had no luck.

This trip, I packed my woodworking tools into my suitcase, bought some lumber locally and got to work on fixing them myself.

Our trips are different than most. We spend most of our time cleaning, fixing and painting to make Storytellers Villa as magical as possible for our guests.

It's about this time of year, as the cold begins to set in and the heating comes on, that I look back at our last trip to Florida and remember how much I enjoyed repainting the pool deck and cleaning the pool furniture on those glorious warm Florida days.

It's those moments that stick with me. Those moments that remind me how lucky we are. They're magic.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) is voting on whether or not to retrofit moving walkways in the newly-opened terminal C. If it goes ahead, it should help save the step count for the parks! One of the (many) reasons I love Disney Springs. We left the World of Disney store and came across these artists taking a poll on which track they should end their set. It was a choice between Journey and Bryan Adams. Here’s the result (apologies for the shaky-cam, I was tapping my feet!):
